Summer Intensives 2015

Fiona Handschin, Wooded LandscapeThis year’s summer intensive will once again have two sessions running from June 21 to 26, 2015 and June 28 to July 3, 2015.

In Session I, the Alkion Faculty is pleased to collaborate with the Nature Institute to offer Awakening to Nature’s Open Secrets: A Living Approach to Education. Craig and Henrike Holdrege of the Nature Institute will lead courses in experiential science, and the Alkion Faculty will lead arts electives.

Keene, NH teacherSession II features two intensives. One will consider Working Together in Community: Conversation, Team Work, Facilitation and Decision-making with Christopher Schaefer (part two of the series looking at Waldorf Administration and Community Building that was begun in Summer 2014). The second intensive will provide in-depth Arts & Crafts Immersions to give participants practical experience in your choice of four media that are core to Waldorf curriculum throughout the grades.
